Yuri took us to the Baltic Sea today. We went to a small village on the Curonian Spit for a walk along the beach. It reminded us of our trip to Nida, Lithuania back in the days when we first met. In fact, the area that we visited today (the second village from the top on the spit of land heading off the map) must have been only kilometers away from Nida. The houses and villages looked so familiar to us - similar to those we remember seeing in rural Lithuania and Latvia. It was nice to get out of the city for a few hours and feel the cold sea air.
