It's recently come to my attention that Finnegan was a famous dog on the Canadian television show Mr. Dressup. I have no qualms about choosing a name that was once a beloved pet's name (convincing my husband that this is perfectly acceptable is another matter!). I've known lots of pooches and pusses and people that have successfully shared names such as Molly and Ellie and Zoe. But, I have to wonder, is naming a child Finnegan akin to naming a child Snoopy?
For all the Canadians reading this blog, do tell me, what on earth was the Tickle Trunk?
