If only I were speaking figuratively.
We've been glued to the news all weekend, hoping for a reprieve from the horrific events that have literally shaken Japan over the last 48+ hours. But it just doesn't seem to be coming. The latest reports say that the earthquake on Friday has been 'upgraded' to a 9.0, a couple of coastal cities appear to have been completely obliterated by the tsunami, the death toll has reached 1,200 and will only keep rising, and, most worrisome of all, it's likely that a nuclear meltdown is currently in process in Fukushima prefecture.
It's hard to know what to do, think, or feel... I guess we'll keep waiting for news.

It all seems so unreal here in safe NE...it really makes our problems insignificant. We are thinking of you and all of Japan.
